iNaturalist user Dane posted on the iNat forum Is an app to see the nearest observation wortwhile? It sounded like a fun idea, so I decided take a stab at making a site.
Project Details
Nature Nearby is a website that allows people to discover the plants, animals, fungi, etc. that are present at a given location by using iNaturalist data.
